Well its like this…

This week we’ve done a Dell, we’re going for quality as opposed to quantity. It didn’t work for us either.

This week we concentrated on these stories.

iPhone 3.0 software – I know we talked about this last week. But now we have some facts to go with the wild speculation.

Battlestar Galactica at the UN – Yeah we know its not tech its Sci-Fi. But its our show and we don’t care, so there!

iTunes Store starts HD movie sales – Now you can impulse purchase some really dire films, from the comfort of your computer. All in glorious HD.

MS bids to reclaim the web with IE8 – Missed the fact that Redmond have released IE8, nearly everyone did, so don’t feel bad. The ‘underwhelming’ launch of the latest and greatest version of Explorer, passed almost unnoticed on to the net. The good news, it’s the most standards, open ones not MS’ own, compliant version of the browser. The bad news its still Internet Explorer.

Google Voice – Another new service from the search giant, they want all your calls. You get a single number, for your home, mobile and even business. Google does the rest, transcribes your voice-mail, redirect your calls, and more. I am not a number, I am a free man!

LG confirm new OLED touchscreen device from Apple – Okay, so they don’t really, they’re just producing the screens that Apple bought off them. And also researching touch tech on OLED screens. So two plus two equals five, in the wacky world of Apple rumours.

Teens, a balloon and a camera – What do you get? No not porn. You get amazing shots of the Earth from 20 miles up. These Spanish students actually do something clever. Instead of just getting drunk, laid or high.

Ballmer blasts Apple the ‘tide has turned back’ – Would you pay $500 extra for an Apple logo? Monkeyboy wants to know. Its the same hardware so why pay more. In answer I can only say, ‘ITS THE SOFTWARE, STUPID’. I pay extra not to have to use windows, my choice. But, riddle me this Monkeyboy, a Mercedes and a Trabant are both cars, same hardware, why pay more? I wonder if Ballmer drive a Trabant?

And so you have Episode 4 of Killing pixels…
